The "Buzz" on ND 7.0.2
Personally, I am really looking forward to this release. It has some really cool new features included within it that I am just itching to try out. Plus, If this does become a Gold release sometime during September of this year, then that fits in really well with the migration schedule I have planned for my ND6.5.X Servers & Clients.
ND 7.0.2 is looking like a really great upgrade for us.
If you weren't already aware, the next maintenance release of Notes & Domino, 7.0.2, is due sometime in the latter half of 2006 (Although September 2006 has been rumoured). Ed Brill has posted some links to ND7.0.2 related content, so I won't duplicate them here.
Go check them out from Ed's site.
"There’s no question that the features we’re adding, at no additional charge, in this maintenance release are a real bonus for Lotus Notes/Domino 7 customers,” says Scharfman. “But this news should also remind other customers out there that Lotus Notes/Domino 7 has some truly dramatic enhancements and that it’s absolutely an upgrade worth making now if they haven’t already.”
