Priorities

My apologies to those of you who regularly "anticipate" and read my blog posts. There's been a distinct lack of them (blog posts) over the last 2 months, and with good reason. Let me explain ...

Some of you may know that Lynne, my wife, was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer about a year ago. Since her initial diagnosis, she has had surgery and intensive chemotherapy treatments to help her fight this horrible disease. During spring of this year, at one of Lynne's regular hospital checkups, we were told that Lynne's cancer will shorten, and ultimately, end her life sometime within the next 5-10 years.

This news has been a real blow to all of us. The life expectancy figure may seem like a long time to some, but to Lynne & I the news was devastating. How can you carry on with your life as normal, knowing full well that at some point someone you love and care deeply about will be gone. Forever.

So, you've probably figured out by now that maintaining my blog, is way down on my priority list. Maybe it will help me deal with "things" a lot better if I start to post on a regular basis again? To be honest, I don't know if it will or not. I'm not exactly feeling up to "bleeding yellow" much these days, so it's hard to post anything relevant for the community, let alone participate within it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for listening.
